Cancellation policy

ROBAM UK Purchase Options Cancellation Policy

Last updated: 4 June 2026

This policy explains how recurring-delivery subscriptions, pre-orders and any other purchase options offered by ROBAM UK can be changed or cancelled.

It should be read together with the purchase-option details shown before checkout, our Terms of Service, Shipping Policy and Delivery, Cancellations, Returns and Installation Suitability Policy.

Nothing in this policy limits or removes your statutory rights.

Trading and correspondence address: 22-26 Kay Street, Manchester, M11 2DU

In this policy, "ROBAM UK", "we", "us" and "our" mean ROBAM UK LTD.

2. Purchase Options Covered by This Policy

Selected replacement filters, consumables, accessories and other products may be offered using one or more of the following purchase options:

  • One-time purchase: one order and payment without automatic renewal.
  • Subscription or recurring delivery: products are supplied and payment is taken automatically at the frequency selected until the subscription ends or is cancelled.
  • Pre-order: a product is ordered or reserved before it is ready for dispatch.
  • Try before you buy: if offered, a product is supplied before payment is taken, with payment due on the date and terms shown before checkout.

Only the purchase option selected and shown in your order confirmation applies to your order.

One-time purchases are not subscriptions. Cancellation and returns for one-time purchases are governed by our Delivery, Cancellations, Returns and Installation Suitability Policy.

3. Information Shown Before You Order

Before you enter into a purchase option, we will display or make available the relevant information, including where applicable:

  • The product and quantity.
  • Whether the order is a one-time purchase, subscription, pre-order or other purchase option.
  • The price, discount and delivery charge.
  • The payment and delivery frequency.
  • The date or basis on which recurring payments will be taken.
  • Any introductory price, trial or discount period and the price afterwards.
  • Any minimum commitment or fixed term.
  • How to change, skip, pause or cancel the purchase option.
  • Important cancellation, return and refund information.

Please check these details carefully before placing the order. They form part of the contract.

If no minimum commitment or fixed term is expressly shown before checkout, a subscription continues on a rolling basis and may be cancelled at any time without a subscription cancellation fee.

4. Recurring Payments and Subscription Orders

By selecting a subscription or recurring-delivery option and completing checkout, you authorise us and our payment provider to charge the selected payment method at the price, frequency and dates shown before checkout until the subscription ends or is cancelled.

Each successful recurring payment normally creates an order for the next scheduled supply.

Recurring deliveries are subject to product availability, successful payment and the delivery terms applying to the order.

We do not charge a fee merely for cancelling a rolling subscription. Any minimum commitment, fixed term or other material condition must be prominently disclosed before checkout to apply.

5. How to Cancel a Subscription

You may cancel the future automatic renewal of a subscription at any time by:

  • Using the cancellation option in your customer account or subscription-management link, where available.
  • Emailing info@robamuk.com with a clear statement that you wish to cancel.
  • Telephoning 0161 260 2200.

You do not need to give a reason.

To help us identify the subscription, provide your name, order or subscription number and the email address used for the order.

We will confirm the cancellation in writing. Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals and recurring charges from the effective cancellation date.

6. Cancelling Before the Next Subscription Order

To prevent the next scheduled order, cancel the subscription before its next renewal payment is taken.

If you cancel after a recurring payment has been taken:

  • Contact us immediately.
  • If the order has not entered processing or dispatch, we will take reasonable steps to stop it and provide the appropriate refund.
  • If the order has already been processed or dispatched, cancellation of the subscription will stop future renewals, but cancellation or return of the current order will be handled under your statutory rights and our Delivery, Cancellations, Returns and Installation Suitability Policy.

Stopping a payment through your bank does not by itself clearly tell us that you wish to cancel the subscription. Please also notify ROBAM UK so we can stop future orders and confirm the cancellation.

7. Changing, Skipping or Pausing a Subscription

Where the selected subscription service allows it, you may use your customer account or subscription-management link to:

  • Change the delivery frequency.
  • Change the quantity.
  • Skip an upcoming order.
  • Pause or resume the subscription.
  • Update the delivery address or payment method.

You may also contact us for assistance.

Changes normally apply only to future orders and must be completed before the next order enters processing. We cannot guarantee that a change can be applied after a recurring payment has been taken or an order has entered processing.

8. Prices, Discounts and Product Changes

The price, frequency, delivery charge and any subscription discount applying when you subscribe will be shown before checkout and in the order or subscription confirmation.

If we propose a material price increase or material change to an ongoing subscription, we will give reasonable advance notice and explain when the change will take effect. You may cancel before the change takes effect.

A price change will not be applied retrospectively to an order that has already been charged.

If a subscribed product is temporarily unavailable, we may delay or skip the affected order and notify you. If it is discontinued, we may cancel the affected subscription.

We will not substitute a materially different product or charge for it without your agreement. Where required, payments taken for goods we cannot supply will be refunded.

9. Introductory Offers, Trials and Renewal Notices

Where a subscription includes an introductory price, free or discounted period, trial, minimum term or long renewal period, the applicable terms and the price payable afterwards will be shown before checkout.

We will provide reminder, cooling-off and end-of-contract notices where required by applicable law.

An introductory discount does not create a longer minimum commitment unless that commitment was prominently disclosed before checkout.

10. Consumer Cooling-Off and Statutory Cancellation Rights

For most online Consumer subscriptions for goods, the Consumer may notify us of cancellation without giving a reason within 14 days after the day the first delivery is received.

After notifying us, returnable goods must normally be sent back within the period required by law. The Consumer may be responsible for the direct return cost for a change-of-mind cancellation, as explained before purchase and in our Returns Policy.

Where applicable law gives a Consumer an additional renewal cooling-off right or another right to cancel, we will honour that right and provide the required information, refund and cancellation arrangements.

These statutory rights are separate from the contractual right to stop future subscription renewals at any time.

11. Cancelling a Subscription Compared With Returning Goods

Cancelling a subscription stops future automatic renewals. It does not automatically cancel or refund an order that has already been paid for, processed or dispatched.

Returns, refunds and remedies for goods already supplied are governed by our Delivery, Cancellations, Returns and Installation Suitability Policy and applicable law.

For filters, consumables and accessories:

  • Do not install or use an item if you intend to return it.
  • Used, installed, contaminated, incomplete or damaged goods may not qualify for our additional goodwill return and may have diminished value.
  • Where a product is sealed for genuine health-protection or hygiene reasons and this is clearly disclosed before purchase, the legal change-of-mind cancellation right may not apply after the seal is broken, where the law permits.

Nothing in this section affects rights where goods are faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed.

12. Pre-Orders

Where a product is offered for pre-order, the product page or checkout will show the available information about:

  • The estimated availability or dispatch period.
  • Whether payment is taken immediately, later or in stages.
  • How the pre-order may be cancelled.

Availability and release dates are estimates unless we expressly guarantee a date in writing.

A Consumer may cancel a pre-order before dispatch by notifying us. We will cancel it and refund the relevant payment. If the order has already entered dispatch before the cancellation can be actioned, the normal cancellation and returns process applies. Different arrangements may apply to a Business Customer under an agreed written contract.

If we cannot supply the pre-ordered product, we will cancel the affected order and refund payments taken for it.

13. Try-Before-You-Buy Options

If a try-before-you-buy option is offered, the product page and checkout will state the trial period, payment date, return deadline and condition requirements.

To avoid the scheduled charge, eligible goods must be returned using the stated process and within the stated time. We may charge the agreed amount if the goods are kept, are not returned on time, or are returned in a condition outside the clearly disclosed terms, subject to applicable law.

Nothing in a try-before-you-buy offer limits statutory rights relating to faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed goods.

14. Failed or Expired Payments

You are responsible for keeping the payment and contact information connected to a subscription accurate and current.

If a recurring payment fails or the payment method expires, we or our payment provider may notify you and reasonably retry the payment. We may pause, skip or cancel the affected subscription if payment cannot be collected.

We will not charge an undisclosed or disproportionate fee because a payment fails.

15. Delivery of Purchase-Option Orders

Each physical-goods order created through a purchase option is delivered under our Shipping Policy.

Please keep the delivery address and contact details current. Actual and reasonable failed-delivery, redelivery or return costs may apply where legally permitted and properly disclosed.

If an order appears damaged, incorrect or incomplete, do not install or use it. Contact us promptly and keep the packaging and supporting evidence.

16. Refunds and Overpayments

Where a refund is due, it will normally be made to the original payment method.

We will refund overpayments and other amounts required by law without undue delay and within any legally required period.

Any lawful deduction or amount not refunded will be explained.

17. Business Customers

Consumer cooling-off rights do not apply to genuine Business Customer purchases.

A Business Customer purchase option may be cancelled or changed only in accordance with the applicable written agreement, unless the law requires otherwise.

18. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy for future purchase options and future orders.

We will not make a material adverse change to an existing subscription retrospectively unless the change is required by law or the customer agrees. Where appropriate, we will give advance notice and an opportunity to cancel before a material change takes effect.
